MDMr. Narendra Bansal
(Chairman & Managing Director)


Mr. Narendra Bansal, 44, is the CMD of Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. He is a first generation entrepreneur and a 'visionary' in the true sense.

Mr. Bansal is the driving force behind Intex. In the year 1993, Mr. Bansal identified IT Hardware as a field with high growth potential and initiated the incorporation of Intex Technologies (India) Limited in 1996. He started business that year with just one item - Ethernet Cards under INTEX brand and had to face severe competition from various MNC brands who ruled the market.

With his deep knowledge about the products and their manufacturers located in Taiwan and China, he was able to rapidly expand the product range to over 26 product categories including PCs, Notebooks, TFT-LCD Monitors, DVD Players, Home Theatre Systems, Subwoofers, Headphones, MP3 Players, Web Cameras, Mobile Phones, Home UPS, Computer Peripherals & In-Car Accessories. He also set up an in-house team to develop a customized ERP solution which is the backbone of all operations across the country spread over 4 mother warehouses, 28 branches, 2 regional offices and 58 Service Centres.

Mr. Narendra Bansal finished his graduation in Commerce from Delhi University. He is a hands-on manager who believes in walking the talk. Mr. Bansal is also a keen fitness and sports enthusiast and an avid reader. Driven by a strong desire to build business and discharge social responsibilities, his family runs charitable educational and health activities for the benefit of the urban under-privileged people of Delhi. He is also a member of various organisations working towards social causes like Rotary Club of Ashoka, Manthan and Rajasthan Club.

Mr. Ramesh A. Vaswani
(Executive Vice Chairman)

VC Mr. Ramesh A. Vaswani is the Executive Vice Chairman of Intex Technologies and oversees the operations in India. A gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, his main thrust is on organizational and business development and strategic decisions.

Mr. Vaswani has 43 years of vast and rich industry experience in India as well as overseas. He has been a member of various committees at CII, PHD Chamber and was also Vice-Chairman of Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NR).

Mr. Vaswani began his career and held several senior positions in the reputed Shriram (DCM) Group, Delhi, over a period of 14 years. He was General Manager of an Automotive Component manufacturing company of the Group before he took up an overseas assignment in 1979 as the Managing Director of two companies of CHELLARAM Group in Nigeria. On returning to India in 1984, he was Vice President of INALSA, Delhi where he set up the Appliances Division and the Flexi tubes Division. The latter was taken over by a British MNC. From engineering industry he switched over to IT industry in 1999 and was Managing Director of a Software company offering Baan ERP solutions, SAS Data Warehousing solutions, etc. He then set up a business in association with a leading Canadian company dealing in high-speed wireless data transfer radios, as part of a large Indian Group

Mr. Vaswani has been with Intex for 6 years. Under his leadership, the growth at Intex has seen a substantial acceleration. Company turnover reached a level of Rs. 32 crores in the first six years of business (2002) and has since increased to 260 crores in next five years (2007), with a CAGR of 52% and head count from 150 to 900+ as of end 2007.

Mr. Suresh GuptaMr. Suresh Gupta
(Director-Operations)


Mr. Suresh Gupta, age 46 yrs, is a qualified Cost and Works accountant. He has a rich experience of 23 years in manufacturing and corporate level, including supply chain management, product development, product sourcing, quality assurance, services, exports etc.

At Intex, he is responsible for the entire gamut of commercial operations which inter-alia include manufacturing, supply chain  management, finance & accounting, legal & administration, IT and quality assurance. He has been included in the Board of Directors of Intex Technologies (India) Ltd and, at present, is also at the helm of affairs of Human Resource management of the company.

Before joining Intex, he worked with Singer India Ltd, a multinational company, for  17 yrs. Mr. Gupta has many significant achievements to his credit in the various functions handled during his tenure with Singer India Lltd. He was nominated and approved by Singer Corporation HQ in New York as a "Key Employee" in April 2003.
