Shipra Mall, situated at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and Westend Mall at Ludhiana, Punjab were the first two malls to be covered under the campaign. The two-day long weekend activity (May 22-23, 2010) had an appealing stage with a vibrant display of Intex Multimedia Speakers, DVD Players, Desktops, TFT-LCD Monitors, and Headphones at the centre of the mall.
Adding a dash of glamour, at the Shipra Mall event, was the small act where Femina Miss India & Gladrags participants of yesteryears sashayed down the floor holding Intex products in hand. People did not seem to get enough of the exciting games and contests conducted by a vivacious emcee at both the malls.
The events aimed to push sale at the traditional channel partner counters in the vicinity. Such counters also received full support through point-of-sale activations. The foot-fall at Intex stall came out to be greater than 3,500. More than 1000 hot leads were generated and substantial amount of on-the-spot order booking was also done.
