| Intex announces 5% - 8 % hike in its products' prices |

Intex is going for a 5%-8% increase in the prices of its IT Hardware Peripherals, TFT LCD Monitors and Computers. The prices for some of the products have already been increased and for the rest, the rise has become effective from September 1, 2010.
This price hike became inevitable due to the consistent rise in important cost factors over past few months such as global increase in major raw material costs including copper, aluminum, steel & plastics; rise in shipping freight and component costs on account of appreciation of Chinese Yuan and depreciation of Indian Rupee.
In spite of all these cost deterrents, Intex will continue to strive to live up to the expectations of its channel partners and consumers by offering them ever expanding range of value for money products, supported by attractive deals and reliable after sales service.
