Intex has won 'Best Concept Pavilion' Award at Computer Fair organised by IT Dealer's Association of Silliguri (ITDAS) held between 12-15 January, 2012. Intex displayed its range of Peripherals at the pavilion which was well received by the visitors and organisers. Over 1 lakh visitors from all over North Bengal visitied this fair. On top of this more than 3000 top State Government Officials and Industrial Executives also walked in.This event got extensive coverage in leading local dailies along with other promotional campaigns.

Taking forward the strategy of Intex to reach consumers directly, Intex Participated in 'IT Expo 2011' Bhubaneshwar, Odisha from 17th to 20th December 2011.  The entire range of Peripheral products was displayed.  In another event Intex participated in 'Midnight Bazaar - A mega Trade fair of Consumer Goods' at Agra between 23 - 27 December 2011.  The fair witnessed the latest technological products with fun and frolic for the families of visitors.   Intex was amongst other 100 national and multinational companies who showcased their products. Intex displayed its  range of speakers and other peripherals products.  Intex products were experienced and appreciated by thousands of visitors.
The five day event recorded more than 12 lakhs of footfall. Intex Technologies, in association with its Channel partner - M/s Sunny Comp., participated in 'Dhule Festival' Dhule held from 24 to 27 November 2011.  The festival is known to be one of the grandest of north Maharashtra. The 4 days event was visited by over 75000 people. Most of the major ITeS companies participated in the festival.  Intex demonstrated its latest range of speakers, key boards, mouse and other products. The festival brought lot of visitor at the stall who got opportunity to live and experience Intex product range.

Hoarding Campaign in West Bengal & Maharashtra

Intex did a hoarding campaign in West Bengal. A total 31 hoardings were taken with the intention to increase the visibility of Intex Peripheral range. The brand saw another hoarding campaign in rest of Maharashtra covering various locations at Vidarbha Akola, Amravati, Chandrapur, Gondia, Yeotmal etc during the months Nov - Dec 2011.

Dealer meet for Udaipur and surrounding areas

Intex relationship building exercise with its associates and channel partners further continues as the peripheral vertical of Intex conducted yet another dealer meet for Udaipur and surrounding areas.

The meet was attended by over 200 dealers. While the officials at Intex shared history and future roadmap of the company, the product team shared the new and forthcoming products with the partners and the trade.

A press meet was also conducted before the event with local journalist from the city. Intex news was covered in lead newspapers like 'Rajasthan Patrika', 'Punjab Kesri', 'Dainik Bhaskar', 'Lokmat' to name a few.

The launch of 3G data card and Intex plan to capture major market share in Rajasthan by March 2012 were the story line of Intex news in all the publications.


Dearler meets at Saharanpur and Aligarh

In order to further consolidate its leadership status in Peripheral business, Intex conducted two dealer meets in the month of October in Saharanpur & Aligarh. The meets were attended by more than 100 & 130 channel partners respectively.

These interactive events were conducted in order to impart knowledge to our channel partners about company, its product range, upcoming range of products and road map of the company, in the coming time.

The dealers got an opportunity to see the product display of entire range of IT Peripherals. Apart from the range the associates got an opportunity to experience new products launched by the organization. The platform was also used for interaction of dealer with the officials of different department of the company.


Rajasthan Club Deepawali Mela 2011

Intex Technologies participated in the 'Grand Diwali Mela' conducted by the very elite 'Rajasthan Club' on 22 & 23 Oct 2011 at Pitampura, New Delhi. Intex showcased its high end range of products in this Mela. This event was visited by more than 2 lacs of cream of the crop section from Delhi. This high profile event was captured by leading newspaper and Television channels.

Intex pavilion received a very warm response by the crowd where in thousand of people were able to experience Intex elite range of products. The event also helped Intex effort to change its perception from a leader in Computer Peripheral business to company into IT, Electronics and Mobility business.

This consumer fair exhibition is held at every year and attracts huge crowd. Metropolitan, now an international telecom channel partner for Intex, is Sri Lanka's eighth largest company in terms of turnover and is a distributor for many renowned mobile handset brands.

Intex holds All India Premium Channel Partners Meet at New Delhi

Intex Technologies’ All India Premium Distributors Meet for Computer Peripherals channel partners concluded on May 12, 2011. The annual meet was held in four stages covering key distributors from the North, South, East and West India regions.

Looked upon as the major channel-activity for 2011, it stood apart from the regular meets as it focused only on the primary channel. The participants were acquainted with the business plans, product road map, new entrants in the portfolio, growth trigger points, the opportunities and most importantly the learning from last year’s performance to jointly exploit more avenues and take Intex to the next level of growth.

Team INTEX seems to have mastered the art of displaying and selling at the regional fairs ! The Best Pavilion Award for INTEX at the recently concluded Super Shopee Expo-2011 at Nandurbar, Nasik (Maharashtra) proves this. This is the third award won by the company in the best display category in the last four months. The team had won the same accolade at COM-IT-2010, Pune and at COMPEX-2011,Nagpur, Maharashtra in Dec, 2010 and Feb, 2011 respectively.

Held from March 2 to 7, 2011, the event is an annual consumer fair exhibiting IT, Consumer Electronics, Automobiles, Handlooms , Handicrafts and Household Products. INTEX had a huge and vibrant display of its complete range of Multimedia Speakers, Headphones, Webcameras, keyboards, DVD Players, LCD TVs, TFT-LCD/LED Monitors, etc.

There were more than 100 participants and the fair witnessed a foot fall of more than 15,000 per day. Super Shopee Expo is a 15-year old event quite popular in the trade fraternity and consumers residing in Jalgaon, Akola, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad and Dhulia regions.

Intex won the Best Stall Award at the recently concluded consumer fair - COMPEX-2011 at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Held from Feb 17-22, 2011 at Civil Lines in the city, it is a popular annual event seeing participation from all major players in the ICTE segment.

Intex displayed its complete range of Computer Peripherals, Mobile Phones and Consumer Electronics in association with our top performing distributor of the region – M/s Silver System. There were more than 50 participants at the fair out of which Intex’s stall was adjudged the best.

The event was visited by more than a lakh people. Kudos to the team and Mr. Sonu Kewal Ramani (aka Sonu Bhai) for working hard and making the event a success!

Beginning the security software - INTEX Safe Surf Antivirus - endeavor from Maharashtra, Intex organised two business development meets at Mumbai in order to acquaint the dealer fraternity with the range and the business plans. Held on Feb 10, 2011 at Thane and Lamington Road respectively, the meets were attended by over 250 channel partners.

The participants were acquainted with the new range – INTEX Safe Surf Antivirus & Internet Security- which has been launched in partnership with leading security software developer PC Tools. The partners had an interactive session with company representatives.

Being the richest and the second most populous state in India, Maharashtra holds an important position in the company’s strategy for Western India. Intex finds it an ideal destination to set the ball rolling. Intex participated in Asia ITEX-2011- India’s largest Information, Communication, Technology and Electronics exhibition and conference- organized by The Economic Times at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from Jan 14-16, 2011.

The expo turned out to be a grand gathering of the who's who of the manufacturers, service providers and suppliers fraternity, from IT, Electronics and Telecom sectors,exhibiting their latest & innovative portfolios. Joining the bandwagon, Intex had an eclectic display of its wide range of Mobile Phones, LCD TVs, TFT-LCD/LED Monitors, Multimedia Speakers, Keyboards, Mouse, Headphones, Computer Cabinets and UPS, etc.

The expo attracted a foot fall of app. 2000 in three days. It gave us a good B 2 B platform, helped us in knowing our consumers better and also broadened our insight regarding the developments in the industry.
Intex Mobiles' biggest Van Campaign Concludes in January

Intex successfully concluded its biggest -ever caravan campaign for its range of mobile phones termed as 'Intex Mobiles on Wheels' on Jan 15, 2011. Intex's recently launched mobile handsets – V.SHOW (Dual SIM mobile phone with in-built projector), V.DO (dual SIM video phone) and IN 4470 N (dual SIM phone with face to face chat facility) were some of the models promoted through this activity.

The two-month long campaign aimed to fuel the company’s expansion plans towards enhancing its reach to handset consumers and channel partners. The caravans, 26 in numbers, traversed through 14 states and 400 towns, visiting popular mobile phone markets in the regions. The states covered were Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana (North), West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand (East), Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh (South) and Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh (West & Central India.

The activity focused on stimulating secondary & tertiary sales and to explore new business associates. The teams on the caravans put in their best to spread brand awareness amongst potential consumers and channel partners by providing them hands-on experience and disseminating leaflets, posters, balloons, key-chains, etc.

Intex has announced addition of one more business vertical in its portfolio- Security Software products. The first product to be introduced in this series is INTEX Safe Surf 2011 for power-packed protection of your computer from viruses and spyware and to make browsing the web a whole lot safer. It has been developed in association with leading security software developer- PC Tools.

The software is primarily targeted at end consumers and SOHO (Small Office Home Office) businesses that are looking at effective yet simple to deploy antivirus solutions. Considering the legacy of offering a wide range of high quality computer peripherals , Intex foresees a huge opportunity in the Security Software segment. The company has already proven excellence in one part of IT industry and is keen to make a mark in the other part.
