- Intex made its presence felt amongst more than 200 participants at the recently concluded popular annual IT fairs IT-Expo, Pune and COM-IT, Mumbai held from Dec 10-14, 2009. We notched the top slot for best display at IT-Expo-2009.
- Entire range of INTEX Computer Peripherals, Mobile Phones, Consumer Electronics and PC were on display including Dual SIM mobile phones, Multimedia Speakers, Computer UPS, Headphones, Keyboards, Mouse, DVD Players, PCs, etc. Interesting discount offers & schemes were also introduced to attract footfalls at the stalls.
- IT-Expo, organized by CMDA (Computers and Media Dealers Association) of Pune, is one of the biggest IT exhibitions of Western India and registers more than lakh visitors every year.
- Organised by TAIT (Trade Association of Information Technology), COM-IT Expo is one of the key IT events in South Asia APAC region. Intex has been participating in the same since last 3 consecutive years.
- Both events attract people in huge numbers and present an ideal platform for both B2B and B2C interface.

- A Caravan brightly draped in interesting streamers and backdrops on INTEX Mobile Phones went across four districts of West Bengal- Bankura, Birbhum, Burdwan and Purulia- for a week - Dec 24 to 30, 2009.
- To catch attention of the crowd further there was a live band – Krishti - on the van belting out Bengali folk and popular music.
- Considering the number of sales queries, which have been pouring, the team behind the activity has every right to smile. It was not only successful but has also turned out to be one of the most effective promotional tools in the Below The Line genre.


- Intex, participating for the fifth time in the India International Trade Fair -2009 at Stall no.34, Hall no.11, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. More than 65 products were kept on display. The range includes Mobile Phones, Desktops, Netbooks, Monitors, Multimedia Speakers, Keyboard, Mouse, Computer UPS, DVD Players to name just a few.The company used this important event to launch two new products- a high-end Dual SIM QWERTY keypad mobile phone-model IN 6611 Ace and a 19" LED Monitor.
- Along with new launches, there were interesting schemes making the shopping experience wholesome
!One can get himself clicked on a purchase of Rs. 2500 /- and take home the picture neatly placed in a photo-frame. A smart sling bag and wall-clock are some of the freebies on offer on purchase of INTEX mobile phones, multimedia speakers, desktops,netbooks and TFT-LCD Monitors. Movie buffs will get a set of three all-time favourite flicks free with INTEX DVD players.


Launches first exclusive store at Meerut
- After having positioned brand INTEX at more than 120 hyper markets and specialty stores across the country, through the shop-in-shop concept, for about three years, Intex has made a debut in the Small Format Retail segment by launching its first store – INTEX SQUARE- at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on September 1, 2009.
- INTEX has been diversifying and has been increasing focus on ways to bring the brand, product experience and service closer to the consumers. INTEX SQUARE will be set up with the joint efforts of the company and its committed channel partners. These partners have a good track record and a sound standing in the market. For the INTEX SQUARE activity, they will be selected from a vast network of more than 2000 distributors. As the retail activity progresses, the company may evolve other models also for expansion.
- The flagship store at Meerut, set up in association with M/s RCA Technologies - one of Intex’s distributors in the area- has the entire range of INTEX on its shelves.
This comprises of PCs, TFT LCD Monitors, Netbooks, Mobile Phones, Multimedia Speakers, DVD Players, UPS, Cabinets, Web Cameras, Keyboards, Mouse, Headphones, to name just a few. Spread over 200 sq ft area, the store has been done up in a modern format utilizing concepts of interior design to facilitate storage & display and ensure a pleasing technology experience to consumers.

- The new mobile phone TV Commercial is a simple & straight take on two of the most sought-after virtues - convenience and utility. How technology could bring happiness & convenience to our lives.
- 60-70 % of INTEX mobile phone portfolio comprises of Dual SIM phones. The TVC , playing on the utility of a Dual SIM phone, focuses on the basic difficulty of using two mobile phones through a witty and appropriate situation featuring two youngsters traveling in a bus.
- It's got a neat copy, interesting and easy visuals to which anyone could relate to and could understand.
- The telecast has been planned in two Bursts.
- The First Burst is on for period Aug- Sep-09 . During these two months, the TVC will be visible at all major entertainment and news channels lke Star Pus, Sony, Colors , Zee TV, MTV, 9XM, Aaj Tak, Zee News, IBN 7, India TV and TV9 Telegu.
- The next TVC from INTEX marketing stable is going to be on Multimedia Speakers which will be released in the second week of August.

A Business Development Meet (BDM) for PC, Consumer Electronics and Computer Peripherlas channel partners was held at Nasik on June 6, 2009. More than 250 distributors and dealers operating in Nasik and adjoining areas took part in the event.
The meet commenced with the inaugural note by Sanjay Chawla, director- San Computek- INTEX’s principal distributor in the region. Owing to the efforts put in by San Computek, Nasik has the distinction of having the highest no. of INTEX channel partners across India.
There were introductory sessions on the company and business plans by company officials – Nazim Ashraf , Santosh Khabia and Azhar Khan. Top 10 best performing resellers were felicitated with INTEX Star Achievement Awards.

Kudos to team Intex – Santosh Singh, Sunil Kodrikar, Sachin, Deepak, Mahesh , Jagdip and staff of San Computek for their support in making the event a success.

As a part of our channel-support marketing initiatives, INTEX participated in the consumer durable & electronics expo - DIGILIFE - organized by HT Media Limited at Delhi, Lucknow & Chandigarh on April 18 - 19 and April 25 - 26 respectively. We had a display of INTEX products at the fair which was arranged and looked after by our distributors in the respective regions. Also, INTEX logo was present in all event related promotional advertisements and other collaterals.
